“ The negative reviews left on Google about this place are frustrating because most of them reflect ignorance rather than a true depiction of the restaurant (they do NOT, for example, expect you to get more than one meal, as one reviewer said - that's just ridiculous!). We actually stayed in an Airbnb in the same building as Taverna Giulia, but didn't eat there until our last night. Tucked away in a recessed piazza, it was easy to overlook. We went on a Friday evening during a national holiday and got dedicated service. We ordered guinea fowl with orange sauce and pansotti with walnut sauce; it was the best meal we had in Rome over 4 days! Prices were reasonable too. We shared a half bottle of wine for just €6.50! Highly recommend this place to any traveler looking for a great dining experience with a satisfying meal! ”
